The views are spectacular. The water is magnificent glass. The palm trees are immaculate. The lava is, well, hot. Waikui, Hawaii is a place one hopes to vacation at least once in their life and Volcano Palms puts paradise to good use. While the views are simply spectacular, this utopia can pose a threat to those who stray from the fairway. The steaming and scorching lava isn't all for show, you see. Throw on the sunscreen, grab a life jacket and don't get burned.
The greatest challenges can often be found in the most unexpected places. The village of Vik, located at the southernmost point of Iceland, is home to one of the most ambitious Golden Tee Golf destinations in the world. The roaring waterfalls, free flowing streams and green grass lining the rolling hills paint a picture fit for a postcard. The Atlantic Ocean will be in play on occasion, as will the steamy hot springs that line fairways and greens.
Vegas, baby! With the towering Sin City cathedrals looming in the distance it's time to test your luck (and skill) in Las Vegas. The fairways are lush and full of life, although the desert elements are evident early and often, reminding you of the terrain when you stray off course. The big gamble on Desert Valley Resort will come on the par-3s. Do you put all your chips in the center of the table or play it safe?
Unmatched architecture serves as the backdrop for Hawthorne Manor, a golfing journey that takes us back in time. The buildings are not of this generation-17th century blocks of stone that were standing tall long before you ever teed off. The gardens and fountains breathe life into this classic throwback, while the open world is welcoming in its own way. This majestic setting is as timeless as any you're going to find on a golf course. You've never seen Golden Tee like this.
For the first time in its storied history, the game you love has touched down in Japan. The village of Sakamoto offers up an array of inquisitive obstacles. Some of these, like the detailed bridges, finely manicured sand traps and magnificent dojos were built by men. Others, such as the tall bamboo trees that sway by tee boxes, will serve as a more natural test. Get past these, and you'll be greeted with some of the more shapely greens we've ever crafted.
One part Rockies, a dash of Grand Canyon and a solid serving of desert, Rocky Hollow is a buffet of life out west. Centered in Moab, Utah, just 18 miles from the Colorado border, your 18-hole expedition will showcase the various traits this area has to offer. The water is scarce, but it can be found in the places you tend to visit without purpose. The hard rock surfaces scattered throughout can be your worst enemy, and on occasion, your best friend. Explore with caution.
Dangling off the steep, unforgiving cliffs that guard the Pacific Ocean is Pine Coast, a place where room temperature is normal. Although Deal Mar, California is not a social beacon compared to its bustling neighbors, its seclusion and space is precisely why this course thrives. Long, open holes, notable changes in elevation and a slew of terrain fit for the area. This mix of shrubbery, ocean rock and water are regular guests. And they will push players from their first shot to their last.
In the foothills of Mount Robson exists Elkhorn Ridge, a trek into the virtual golfing wilderness. The elevation changes will demand precision off the tees and proper strategy throughout as you look up and down at what's ahead. The rolling creeks will provide the soundtrack for this glorious course, which certainly has no shortage of water. And although the snow might not line the fairways, it can and will be found on occasion. Hopefully "on occasion" isn't all too often.
As the sun deliberately dips beyond the horizon, Agave Ranch comes to life. The lights above turn on as the temperatures dip, putting a spotlight on this course smack-dab in Scottsdale, Arizona. But the desert has company. Amid the cacti, dust and occasional body of water, players will be surrounded by stands and even a stadium to celebrate competitive golf in a way Golden Tee has never known. And the illuminated sunset, when day and night meet, might just be the greatest backdrop the game has ever known.
Golden Tee at the top of the world. Literally. Mt Everest, Nepal is the home of the frigid gem that is Tundra Peak. Though mostly devoid of vegetation, the rocky cliffs, mountains, snow banks, and glaciers create a true golfing expedition new to the game. This course climb leads you through a variety of mountainside obstacles that will push your game to the very brink. While the voyage is epic, the closing hole will take your breath away if you haven't already lost it from the journey up.
Barns, cattle and the always-feared dusty dirt have a home on Dodge City. Antique obstacles, while sparse and selectively scattered about, will call upon every club in your bag.
This classic course from Golden Tee Fore! 2003 has been remastered from the ground up by Jim Z and his team. Whether this is your first time playing this course or a return to an old friend, you'll undoubtedly enjoy this swamp-filled course from Thibodaux, Louisiana!
Tucked away in Nag's Head, North Carolina, Cape Haven is home to the largest sand dunes on the east coast and one of the most unique golfing experiences in the entire country. While the plentiful dunes can impact your round if you happen to miss the fairway, the choppy Atlantic seas can also come into play on errant drives and approaches.
Set amidst a buzzing Manhattan city scene, Rustic Bridge is sure to become enshrined as one of the greatest Golden Tee courses in history.
The sleepy seaside village of Gullane is home to Bonnie Moor - the first village-set Scottish course in GT history. Different from other link courses yet still true to the region, Bonnie comes equipped with tall grass and signature pot bunkers.
